About Heroes Only
Welcome all ye to the Halls of Heroes and Heroines! Here your bravery is rewarded and your cowardice punished. Fortune favors the bold.
Heroes Only is a site dedicated to the true heroes of fantasy role playing games: the game masters and players that create all the worlds and stories. It started out as a site publishing fan materials for classic Dungeons & Dragons, a game which is now owned by Wizards of the Coast.
Since 1998, Heroes Only has contained materials for classic fantasy role playing, and tries to host resources that are applicable to games such as classic Dungeons & Dragons and Basic Fantasy. Much of the material on this site references the campaign world of Mystara, which is the game world developed for the classic Dungeons & Dragons game.
